Homeward Bound Block

Candi at Raccoon Creek Quilts hosts a monthly challenge with a new challenge every month.  This month’s challenge was to design and make a block.  I was on the fence for a while about it because I kept thinking, “What if someone already made the block I designed and made and I don’t know about it?”  I had an idea in my mind,  so I checked the Quilter’s Cache website to see if it was there, and I didn’t find it.  I figured that I would give it a shot.  So, I don’t know if this block has been made before, but it was new to me and I made paper piecing templates and everything on my own.  Here it is!
